Good morning all, hope that you had a great week and a nice long weekend. Nothing to exciting going on here, got some of my yard work done but you never seem to get ahead of it. I have millions of those Cosmo's coming up in my flower bed, way more than I need and places I don't want them, I will tell you that!
Not to much news this week, generally get some info from you but you also must have had a nice week. I know Liz and Rik had Rik's 40th birthday party for the fourth year in a row. They took lots of pictures but I saw nary a one of the 45th anniversary couple.
Dad is doing ok, but to listen to him you would think his time has come! He hates taking his Lactulose. He says it is just to sweet, and he hates taking it. But we are one step ahead of the game, Judy looked up hepatic encephalopathy for him and why he needs to take the Lactulose. That seemed to do it for a day or so, he certainly didn't want to lose control of his mind. He was going to take it! Now he doesn't feel well when he takes it, it gives him and upset stomach and he really feels down. So if it isn't one thing it is another.
I guess lightning got my router and for several days I was not able to use my desk top. Thankfully Lana and Shari came up and got it going. Thanks again Shari! But it still has it's days so I see a new router in my future!
I borrowed the following pictures from my niece's face book page. It reminded me of the time my sister Helen and I were driving from my Aunt Ruby's house in Presque Isle to Calais at night. She warned us about the Moose and told us they would walk right out in front of the car and she was certainly right. I just happen to see them coming our way from the side of the road and I stopped. She told us that we should turn our lights off which I did but I tell you I didn't know which I was more concerned with the three big Moose in front of my car or a car that might be coming behind us! Wouldn't you just love to meet one of these on the road at night in the dark? It is a big one you can tell.

Got to tell you about an amazing thing that happened to me...I still can't believe it. Two weeks ago Dad noticed that my hub cab was missing from one of my wheels...I had never noticed it. A week later Bill noticed it and suggested that when I had my tire fixed they had forgotten to put it back on. It has been a couple of months since I had my tire fix and just knew that couldn't have been it. I was already to have to purchase another one, but I had to go to BJ to pick something up for Dad and decided what the heck I will give it a try. There it was on the counter they were just waiting for me to come back. I still can't get over it!
Went into work on Thursday for landing of Discovery but it was not to be, Lots of clouds with rain and storm in them, so we tried again on Friday and of course as you know it was waved off to Edwards. They did not try for another day here at Kennedy because the weather is suppose to be worse and high winds at Edwards so they brought it down at Edwards yesterday.
Got most of the Marshall's almost all covered this week with Birthday's and another anniversary. Casey celebrates his 33rd birthday on the 16th, the best of wishes to you! Then on the 18th, Judy and Greg will celebrate their 38th Anniversary, Congratulations and they said you would never make it. I don't usually do next Sat. 19 th Birthdays but since we are on a Marshall swing Erica will celebrate her 28th Birthday on that day...the best of everything to you all! There is another birthday on the 16th but to tell you the truth I have her birthday down in several places and I am not sure which is correct....so Lynn one last time is the 16th Megan's birthdays? If it is the very best of birthdays to her!
Gosh, I have several friend about to depart on trips, Bet & her husband is off with their camper for a trip to Michigan and about, Sandra is going to Washington state, and thank goodness my trip is fast approching on the 22nd. I have been telling myself I have to get a jacket before I go, but so far I haven't even started looking. I am dying of the heat here can't imagine being cold but I know it can be. I leave for Judy's on the 22 and Diana flies into Manchester on the 25th. Judy and I will pick her up there and we will be off on our adventure. We are all really looking forward to it!
Tell you one thing I am excited to try and would like to know if any of you have tried it. It is put out by Windex and it is call all in one outdoor starter kit. When I seen the ad on TV I just knew I had to try it, just hope it works as well as they say. At least I went on line and got a coupon for $2.50 off so that tells me it isn't cheap!
Hope you all have a wonderful week and remember to take good care of you!
Lots of Love
