Well Howdy all, hope that you have had a great week. Got to say mine was busy but nothing exciting.
Dad seems to be doing well, as long as he does it his way He says he is feeling much better but has started a new routine by breaking up the days he does laundry.
Spoke to you last week about the Maker's all going to Camp. The camp is called Lake Molunkus Sporting Camps and is nestled deep in the forests of southern Aroostook County. (Just wanted you to know that I borrowed that from the ad, just like I borrowed these pictures from Face book. Aroostook County is where we are from. They had a great time as I knew they would, only had electricity two hours a night but they survived as you can tell by the pictures.

I laughed I was telling Dad that I keep meaning to get my car washed and it seems I always have something else to do. He told me that you just have to make a point of doing it and it will be done...on that note remember the power chain saw I got...I have used it on the palm tree's but kept putting on using it on what I really got it for so I decided that Tuesday morning would be the day. Have to start early because it is so hot. So out I went, got the new wheel barrel, that soon found out had a flat tire. Started my job...I am so proud of myself, they were pretty big pepper tree's and the saw worked like a dream...(Must be the Adams in me I love that saw). I am just telling you this so you will feel sorry for me, after the first trip with the flat tire I used our old wheel barrel that is so rusted it wants to fall apart but is still holding the ghost. Pretty good for some one who loves to put things off. Got it done! Don't know about the car but it is on my list
I have told you about the horse that is in the pasture not far from me. I know they feed it but it really doesn't get much attention. I started feeding her (I call her beautiful) apples and carrots awhile back. But one day I stopped and she wouldn't have anything to do with my carrots. I had seen the mail lady stop there and I asked Diana if she thought that she might be feeding her. Diana said it is quite possible I have treats for the dogs on my route she could be. Well Thursday I caught her, she feeds her the same stuff I do except she tells me she loves ice cold water and showed me a bottle that she was giving her. I have no idea how she does that, can't believe she will drink from the bottle. (by the way I don't think we are the only ones feeding her) But she is a beautiful horse and I am glad she is getting some attention.
Took Cocoa to the Vet for her leg on Thursday. He highly recommend the lazar treatment for it. So she got her first treatment and has to go back on Monday, sorry to say I can't see that it has done much good so far, but hopefully with the 2nd & 3rd treatment we will.
Yesterday I worked the landing of Endeavour, always a thrill for me. Believe me it was quite warm out there but it was a beautiful landing. Afterwards Bet and I had a nice lunch on the way home.
Dad's 92 Birthday was yesterday, and Lana fixed dinner for him. He wanted Ham steak, mashed potatoes and pea's so fresh that they still had the blooms on them. He tells me it was a great meal and he got lots of calls and cards wishing him the best of birthday's.
Please join me in wishing sister Lana a very happy Birthday on the 3rd, I hope it is one of the very best! Also on the 5th David Todd celebrates his 39th birthday enjoy and have many more.
Hope all is going well with you and yours, drop me a line sometime would love to hear from you. Please take good care
Lots of Love,
a (aa) ~g~

The first picture is of Joyce's daughter Elizabeth and her family...handsome group aren't they (Ian, Liz & Alex in front and handsome Ric in the back.
As you can tell it really wasn't warm, but here is sister Joyce with her fishing rod. No she really didn't go fishing but they caught some awesome trout I am told.
Here is the real camp out...with Liz, Joyce and brother-in-law Jeff and of course Chelsea.
And of course the youngest of the Maker's...Jacob
