Have been a little concerned about Dad he is down in the dumps lately. He feels fine just depressed that he can't do much, please keep him in your prayers. Cisco on the other hand is doing great, can't get over how well he is doing. On my visit on Saturday we went to Applebee's for dinner had those sizzling fajita's if you have never had them you should try them very good.
Palm Sunday was my birthday, I also got to usher at church so it started off quite well and ended quite well also. I met both of my daughters and their family (except Krista she had to work) for dinner. Both Stacey and Nancy gave me flowers which were very nice. Always love flowers! We all had a wonderful meal then of course we had my birthday cake (that molten chocolate cake) which I have decided is about my very favorite Bet made me some delicious blue berry muffin's which were great! Got loads of cards and good wishes....one of my best birthday's yet...thanks everyone!
Well the ice is breaking up in the "County" where I come from I have received several pictures of it that I want to share, some of them were taken in New Brunswick in Canada.
On Monday evening I attended my Planning & Zoning meeting and was greeted by several people that said they had a scare about me, they read in the paper that a R A Ott had passed and she also had worked for NASA several years and they were sure it was me. They called the County office to see if they new and one of the guys knew right away that is was not me...you know how? It had the church she attended and he had helped us(St. Luke's) with our addition so he knew it was not me
On Tuesday I got a big surprise, Dawn and grandson Patrick came out for a visit. They bought me a large hanging planter and beautiful cement angel for my garden for my birthday! That is not all they also bought us mesquite chicken for dinner and it was so good. We had a great visit and it was a wonderful surprise!
Does anyone know how much 64 quarts of dirt weights? Besides a lot? Had to go to Home Depot and get another bag of potting soil and let me tell you it is heavy but it doesn't say how much it weights just how many quarts that are in it.
Let me tell you I left some money at Home Depot on Thursday, I have eight hanging pots to fill and I still don't have enough flowers to fill them. But it is still one of my favorite places to shop.
I am very concerned my cleaning lady the last time she was here was quite depressed, she had lost a couple of clients due to lay off's and her husband employment works three weeks and off a week without pay. I read in the paper that they (his company) was closing down for a month...no pay. She did not show up this week, nor did she call. I tried her number and it is no longer a working number. Bill is sure that she just got her Monday's mixed up but I wonder....
Bet and I met for lunch on Thursday @ one of my favorite places and she treated me to lunch for my birthday....I tell you I think this has been one of my best birthday's it has lasted all week.
They tell me at Home Depot that my fern is an onoclea what ever that is but I tell you this theirs was perfect and they agreed with me that is most likely was mites on the fern. They suggested a Bayer's product to spay the area which I plan to do tomorrow.
Judy has been working her butt off painting and getting her living ready. Seen it on Skypes and she has done a great job. Today she and Greg are off to Boston to visit Jess, Casey, Kyle and Erica. Know that she will have a great weekend and get relief from some of the stress for the week.
Well I hope that you all have a Blessed Easter and all is well with you. Have not heard from some of you in a while.....Just to prove my Birthday has lasted all week, today Diana is treating me to a pedicure...What a Birthday!
Lots of Love
