February 21, 2009

Good morning all hope all is going well with you.  How's your weather?  I know they have had a lot of snow in Northern Maine so much so my sis was not able to go to meeting she had this week.  The weather here has but fine as far as I am concerned...we did get some rain but certainly not enough.  My poor back yard is still looking sad and the next two weeks I will be running all the time so I keep promising it that, the third week will belong to getting it back in shape.  It is so bad that even Bill noticed how much work there is to be done out there.

Lana and Shari got back from Phoenix on Saturday and they had a great time.  The even attended on old Wild West Show while there were there.  They did mention something about it being cold

Want to wish a very special birthday wish to Wesley Morar, he will celebrate a big on Tuesday.  Happy sixteenth Birthday Wes.   Then on the 25th Chris & Lynn Adams will celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary!  Congradualtions Chris & Lynn!

Dad and I decided not to venture out to eat on Saturday because of Valentine's Day.  Picked up some spaghetti at a restaurant and we both really enjoyed it.  I got two of them and really one would have been enough. Besides our meal on Saturday Bill and I had it twice!  Cisco is doing very well he is getting around much better.  Bless his heart he is such a wonderful dog and he always is right by Dad.  He is Dad's best friend  and you certainly can tell it.  Judy and I are trying to keep him in the treats that he loves...plus Judy did research and there is foods for dogs that have allergies...so we are also trying to give him the best food for him.

Well we are all excited Joyce comes on Sunday (hopefully that is if she isn't snowed in) I will pick her up in Sanford.  She sent this picture of her and Jeff that was taken on Valentines Day....good picture don't you think?

Pat & Dave are off on their cruise but before they left...Poor David had to have his gall blatter out.  It wasn't as dramatic as it sounds, thankfully today it is a one, two, three thing and you are up and going again , and he is doing fine.  Hopefully they will have a great time on the cruise.

This next two weeks we will have several of our family visiting, which is something we always look forward to.  I was so pleased with myself that I was able to get Joyce, Liz and Rik and family in to see the launch on the 27th at 1:32 am.  It will be awesome if it goes possibility of another delay...  I believe Rand arrives the same day and he will be here but mostly he will be in Orlando.

Got this great picture of "grandniece" Charlie that I also wanted to share with you.  Isn't she the cutest "active" little dear!  Not to mention Lindsay the dog who I am sure also adores her

I have really been busy this week running here and there, got a lot of loose ends taken care of but can't say I got a lot done.

Helen son Dean, my nephew, husband and father of three has macular degeneration in his eyes.  He has been told by his Doctor that he has a year, maybe two to continue in his job.  He is a machinist.  He is on the prayer list but please add him and his family to yours.  He is only 43.

On Friday we did Baxley Manor, we had one person missing Sandra (she collects the stuff at the Center for us.  She was attending the FEW SW Regional Training in Atlanta.  But all went well and it certainly gives me something to be thankful for that we can help these people.  Lori and Jan do a bang up job of getting great deals on the items that we take them.

Still struggling to learn about Face book.  Joyce has put all kinds of messages on there for me and I have no idea of what to do with them.  Hopefully when she gets here on Sunday (if she makes it, calling for snow there) she will show me what it is all about.

Well I hope that you have a wonderful week and that all goes well with you.  If you are bored with nothing to do...I would love to hear from you!

Lots of Love
