How are you? Hope all has gone well since I have been gone. I can tell you one thing my weeds have certainly multiplied since I have taking a few days from them and my plants look sick. Bill said it rained everyday I was gone but you sure can't tell it by my plants. Some I think I are lost for good!
The Saturday before I left Diana, Nancy, Stacey, Krista and Todd joined Dad and I at UNO’s for dinner to celebrate his birthday. I just had to try their pineapple salad…which was different I will tell you. It is slices of pineapple with onion slice in between, with a dressing on it. Glad I tried it but I won't again I can assure you. We all had a great time and Dad really enjoyed having the kids there.
Glad to report that brother-in-law Greg seems to be doing fine. I know the wedding was a real challenge for him but everyone tried to relief some of the pressure that I am sure he felt. The good news is he went to the Dr. on Wednesday and he said he can resume his normal duties. Thanks everyone for your prayers it sure was needed.
First of all I want you to know I worried for nothing about all the luggage (if I hadn't it wouldn't have worked J) fitting into my car. Dan loaded them and they all fit fine. When we got to NH we were lucky enough to get a van so my troubles were over as far as that concern went.
I thought I was being so smart, got everyone a sandwich to take on the plane. I really felt that would eliminate stopping to get something to eat when we got there…silly me. They had eaten the sandwiches before we got on the plane, still glad I did it but it didn't eliminate stopping when we got there. (smile)
On Thursday we decided to go to Salem, MA to see the sites. Nancy had never been there nor Todd. But before we went to Salem, MA we had to check out Salem, NH. (smile) That GPS will take you anywhere you want to go. While we were in Salem, MA Stacey checked out an old bookstore to find a gift for a friend who collects old books. I think she hit the jackpot the one she bought had an inscription in it as well as notes left by the previous owner…or someone. It was great!
Todd worked me as he usually does (smile) he got four T shirts and was quite proud of the fact that he got them for less than $20. I thought that was great since I paid for them. (smile) I usually buy T-shirt for everyone when I am on a trip but this time I only bought one for Dan…
On Friday morning the grandchildren went and worked out at Liz’s gym. All three of them are really diligent about doing that, and did I mention so is Diana but she wasn't with us.
After the work out we headed for Sturbridge for the wedding. Got to say my grandchildren made me a nervous wreck about my driving. Got to expect that when everyone is a driver and everyone thinks they are the best at doing it.
We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Sturbridge and it was very nice and roomy and clean. It wasn't long after we arrived that just about all the family showed up. It was funny when we walked in there was my nephew Kyle welcoming everyone.
Sister Judy was running around trying to make everything perfect for everyone don't know if it was her trying or it just turned out that way.

The wedding was wonderful…like the saying goes the bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome. The weather was perfect that day I believe it was about 80 and clear skies. It was held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Sturbridge which is over 100 years old. Which means no air but it really wasn't bad, I know several people were concerned about it but there was no need.

The reception was held at an old farm house that had been refurbished for a restaurant. It was beautiful, got to say the food was the best I have every had at a wedding. Helen and I stayed around until just about dark and then headed back to the Inn. I know some people were disappointed that we left early but you know it was a strange place and we wanted to get back before dark. I believe the reception went on until about 11. I did get to dance with Todd before I left which was great. Most likely it will be the last time I will be able to do that…no wedding coming up (smile)

When we were not at the Inn Liz & Rik put us up in NH. They were great host believe me it isn't easy to put up five people. The night we returned to NH, Liz took sister Joyce and Ian to see American Idol in Manchester. Brother-in-law Jeff went also but I don't think he was really impressed with the going on's. (smile)
I had asked Dawn to check on Bill while I was gone and she did, the day I was to come home. It was really nice of her to bring him his dinner. Thanks Dawn
The next thing you know it was time to come home…time just flew by, the weather was great I believe it was 63 the day we left and when we got home in was 85.
Note the pictures were taken by my sister Lana…I took four pictures with my new camera and the battery died!
I am sure there are a lot of things that I meant to say that I have left out, must say my “Great” nephew Jake was handsome and did a great job as ring bearer!

How are you doing David? We were supposed to go visit brother-in-law David Todd on Sunday but he called to say that he had a bad cold we had to pass that visit up. Hope you are back on you feet and feeling better.
Diana and Krista went to NJ to stay a few more days with Judy and Greg and they will be home today. It was great seeing everyone and we had a wonderful time…hope we get to do it again soon!
Lana and Sheri has had quite a vacation this trip they are traveling all over. They won't be back until the last of August.
It looks like we have a bit of a storm coming our way…Fay as always it brings some concern, hopefully it will be nothing.
Brother in law Jeff's Mom is in the hospital...please say a special prayer for her.
So remember no matter what else you do please remember take good care of you!
Lots of Love
