Well Hello everyone; hope you had a wonderful Mothers Day if you are a Mom if not just a great week! I had the most special Mothers Day that I could ever ask for. Just about all my children came over (Dawn had to work) and worked in my yard! It was great even Pat who said he doesn’t do yard work was here. Nancy gave me instructions that this should be the last I fool with the whole yard that it is just too much for me. Guess she is right but that doesn’t mean I will do it (smile). They did a wonderful job I couldn’t ask for more. It was the greatest! My yard is falling into shape just have a few things that I need to get done to it but all and all I am very proud of it!
Today Dad and I will watch the Perkiness out of Baltimore, the second of the three in the Triple Crown horse races. In the past we have not gone out to eat on those days because we were concerned that we would miss the race but we have decided that we will have plenty of time.
We finally had all the yard trash picked up Thursday and they left as much as a normal pick up would be all across the front yard. As hot as it has been here (in the high 80’s) it will have to be done at night or in the very early morning. Have been going out and working in my yard just about everyday early and then stop when the sun starts beating down. Diana has been a real sweetheart I tell you twice this week I have gotten mulch and she has come over after work and lifted it out of the vehicle and put it down for me. It took her no time to do it and if I had done it still wouldn’t be all down.
On Wednesday I went into work at the Press site. Can’t say it was real busy but the lady who is there full time had to be with her husband who is in the hospital. One of the calls that I got I thought that you would enjoy was……The lady was going to transport ice cream from where she was to another place and it would take 24 hrs. She wanted to know where she could get an installation bag that would do that. She knew that NASA came up with the installation bags and just knew I could tell her where to buy them. I told her about the ones I had seen in the stores but she said they wouldn’t do and besides she wanted to take a lot of ice cream. I suggested that she call around retail stores and she said she already had I was her last hope!
Dad’s dog Cisco has allergies and has to be on antibiotics. He is 13 too old to do test to find out just what he is allergic to but he seems to do well when he is on his meds.
Yesterday I took Bill to the VA in Orlando to see the dermatologist. Bud had suggested that he and Lodema meet us there. It has been quite sometime since I have seen Bud and have not met Lodema but Bill was suppose to get some growths that he has on his hands cut off and I knew he wouldn’t be much into talking so I told Bud that. Well wouldn’t you know it the Dr. decided it would let it go another month and put nitrogen on it instead. Made me so mad he has been fooling with these things long enough and besides that I didn’t get to see Bud and Lodema!
I hate driving in the City don’t you? I tell you I think Orlando is growing faster and faster and the roads are under construction and you move so slow. We left an hour early and I have decide that we will leave 1 ½ hours early next time.
Well I am starting to get the inside of my house ready for the company. I have a pull out bed that is suppose to raise and it won’t! I think it has been about 5 years since I have used it…comfortable but it won’t be if I can’t get it to stand up (smile)
Pat’s dear friend David spent sometime in the hospital this week. At first they thought that he had a heart attack but ruled that out. They now think it was a viral infection.
Hope all is well with you and that you have a wonderful week, Please remember take good care of you!
Lots of Love
