Well another week has flown by quickly the weather here has been great, in the low 80’s we have had several threats of rain but so far we have not been so lucky. Of course Bill is still in his winter garb, it makes me even hotter to look at him.
Got to tell you I am over not feeling right as yet, yesterday was the closest that I have come to feeling normal to date. It has taken me so long to get back to normal I am tired of it. Talked to the Dr. office and he recommend a medicine for the cough, stupid me I took it late afternoon and spent the whole night coughing. If I don’t feel better on Monday I am going to call again.
Since my week really had little activity, I backed out of all my meetings just didn’t have the energy to do it so I will ramble for a while …I will give it my best!
Don’t know if I mentioned it or not but my niece Jess and her husband Casey has set up a web site for knitting and crocheting. They work full time at it and are wowing those people that are really into it. Please check them out at www.ravelry.com/account/login they are very talented people and I never knew so many people were into this kind of thing. Don’t know where Jess gets her talent for doing this must skip a generation (smile).
Thanks so much for all the cards and e-mail card that I have received for my Birthday. I try to keep this kind of thing a secret but sisters (this time Judy) seem to let everyone know. Thanks again!
Well as you all know today is my Birthday and I have asked from my children to come and help in the yard especially power washing my china wall. My poor yard is going to pot and at least if I get that done I will feel better. In case you have forgotten what my china wall looks like it is a cement border I have around my flowers. The reason I call it my china wall is it goes up and down just like the wall of China. Got to say I didn’t do a great job when I put it in but my grandson Todd did a great job with the ones he put in so I am hoping they will be a lot straighter after they are done hopefully. Kinda of curious to see just who shows up today. I know that Nancy won’t make it because she has to work 11-4… Know it won’t be early because as you know young people have yet to appreciate the early morning.
Very proud of grandson Todd, he made all A’s this semester which really helps his GPA. Still hoping for a scholarship for him he has been contacted by several coaches but he still has to do some things like write a five hundred word essay about himself. Don’t think that his grandmother things he is great will do it. Just want to put everyone straight on my star’s…my grandchildren are all stars I am very proud of all of them Stacey and Krista were stars in softball and Todd was a star in football, Patrick (Dawn’s son) is a wonderful artist.
Bill is doing well with his eye he is now down to one drop three times a day. He can’t get over how much better he can see, you know what that means don’t you once he has the other eye done he will be back saying I wonder who let this here (smile) Used to make me so made I would drop something and he would say someone dropped this and I would always say it must have been the dog. His other eye will be done on Tax day. So we will go through this again.
Speaking of Tax Day hope you all have yours done and most likely spending all the money you will get back. Not the case with us, I have yet to do it just haven’t felt like it but planned to do it on Tuesday. Bill is driving me crazy because I haven’t done it. I say every year I am going to do it early but somehow I put it off.
Well I recently learned that my front door bell has quit working. Since we had so many nice people delivery stuff to our door while I was sick and we never heard the bell just the pounding. It worked out fine because Bet had gotten a new door bell at Christmas time that played music and I decided I want one too. So hopefully I will get it installed sometime soon. Bill suggested that it might not be the door bell inside but the button itself. Oh well I will go get button just in case.
Lisa and Charlie visit at Helen’s is coming to and end and they will be returning to Dallas on the 25th. I know this is really going to be hard on Helen, not that she won’t miss Lisa but she will really miss that baby. She is such a sweetheart and once you let that little hand join yours you are lost forever.
Last week Diana went with me to visit Dad. We had a nice visit and she gave Cisco his bath. We went to Applebee’s and asked for our special waitress and of course she was there. Really counts when she remembers you name and what you like. So things are looking up at Applebee’s.
Want to wish a very special Birthday this week to Roy Silvia (Lisa’s husband) on the 8th. I know he will be happy to have his family back. You can e-mail him a card at royallensilva@yahoo.com
Gosh time is flying by still have to get my airline tickets for the bridal shower and still have not decided if I will drive or fly to the Kyle and Erica wedding in Aug. by the price of gas it looks like it will cost about the same. (smile)
Well I guess that is it folks I have rambled about as much as I can but remember please take good care of you!
Lots of Love
