Well howdy do all, gosh what beautiful week we have had just about every day I got some work in the yard.
Went to Dad’s on Saturday and we had a great visit so great in fact I forgot to wash some windows (smile). But I will get to it today when I go down. I am only washing a few at a time, that way I will always be washing windows. He had asked me to get him some drinking glasses for his OJ; it seems he has broken some of his very favorites lately. So on Sunday afternoon I went looking do you know how hard it is to find just the right glasses and the right size? It surly isn’t easy especially for someone who hates to shop. But after about the fourth store I found some I hope he likes. We will see today.
Not too much to share this week I have been working at the press site and for the most part the earlier part of the week was quite quiet. Of course we still get calls from the two mentally handicapped people Scott and James but for the most part we learn something with each question that is asked. What really makes it hard when they call from Ft. Meyers or Jacksonville and asked you if they should come? At the time of launch there was only a 40% chance that we would launch. I always told them of course we are going to launch I just feel it in my bones and then one man pointed out to me the price of gas and I told him then it was up to him but I felt that we were going to launch. Of course we did and it was beautiful always look forward to that experience.
Also seen some very nice young men out there who would just be great for Stacey….she needs to start visiting me at the Press site when I work (smile)
Coming right along on my yard soon it will be time to get more mulch and potting soil. I expect next weekend will be the time. I am hoping that I can get my yard in shape before everyone comes for Todd’s graduation.
Besides the later I wait, it will be so warm out there it will be hard to do it.
Niece Liz will celebrate her birthday on Monday; it is so hard to believe that she has gotten past 21. Wishing you the very best of birthdays dear one! Then Nephew Robert will celebrate his birthday on the 12th, along with Bill. Robert will be 29 and Bill will be 80! Hope you have a great birthday!
Please keep Nancy in your prayers on Monday she goes for her breast biopsy!
Well what a week for most of you, Super Bowl, Fat Tuesday and Super Tuesday and the beginning of lent. I know that some of you were very disappointed the way the Super Bowl turned out and hopefully most of you voted. We have an election on the 26, just one thing to vote on I am sure most people won’t take the time to go. Hopefully I am wrong.
I had the craziest thing happen to me this week, someone sent me a joke, and was funny but now I can’t delete it from my system it won’t let me. Any suggestions?
Bill got a letter from the VA for his eyes, his appointment is for the 3rd. Not sure how long it will be after that he will finally get the cataracts removed. I went down to the driver license office and was able to get a 60 day extension on his license. Hopefully he will have it done by then.
Sister Judy and husband Greg are enjoying a vacation this week in Puerto Rico. I know they will have a wonderful time.
Do you ever read the quotes I send? I search long on hard for good ones each week but if no one reads them, maybe I could give that part up.
We all have so many things to be thankful for, just got a note from a dear friend, her sister had surgery in July for lung cancer and yesterday she had a brain tumor removed. Sorry I don’t know her name but keep her in your prayers.
Have the best week ever and remember please take good care of you!
Lots of Love
a (aa) Mom`g`
