February 23, 2008

Good morning all hope that you have had a terrific week. The weather here has been mostly cloudy but nice. Yesterday the temperature reached 85 so we are well on our way to warm temperatures again. This morning it is quite cloudy and we have had some rain and it is suppose to be that way all day.

Every so many years we have the pool painted and last weekend Bill had the guy that has become his handyman (thank goodness) finish draining the pool and then paint it. Gosh the odor from that paint can make you sick but it looks great, so it won’t be long and we will be swimming again.

Our oranges are being eating by the raccoon’s…you should see the ground under those trees lots of empty peeling. Good in a way because you can’t smell them! The raccoon’s are getting pretty friendly around here; I caught one at my bird feeder inside the yard again. They worry me because you don’t know if they are healthy or not. Hate to let Cocoa out at night in case one is out there.

Really nothing much has happened this week, so I don’t know just how much I can ramble. Cause it has been a quiet week thank goodness!

Went for my six month check up this week and I was pleased to know that everything is terrific well under what it should be so I should live another six months for another visit (smile)

Nephew Rand had a fellow police officer down here visiting during the landing on Wed. and I was able to get him a first hand look at the landing. It was quite cloudy that day but at least he and his family got to see something that a lot of people are not able to.

On Sunday we all (Diana’s family, Nancy and I) met for dinner to celebrate Krista’s 21st birthday.

It was very nice I also got Todd’s graduation pictures at that time. Here is one of them. Handsome young man isn't he!

Want to wish a very special Happy Birthday to Wesley who is the big 15 today gosh time flies by fast just doesn’t seem possible that he is that old. Then Chris and Lynn Adams will celebrate their wedding anniversary on the 25th. They have gone up north for a short visit to help celebrate the occasion. Have the happiest on Anniversaries for your special day!

Got my rose bush section all weeded this week and went to my favorite shopping place Home Depot and bought ten bags of chip. Just to show you how old I am getting by the time I got through unloading it and putting them down I was so sore. Didn’t know there were so many mussels that you don’t use until you do something like that.

I took my first trip to the Orlando/Sanford Airport yesterday to pick up Joyce. I had never been there before so I used my GPS. The funnies thing Diana had told me how to go over the bee line and Bill had told me to go another way. Well guess what it gave me a choice I went over the way Diana suggested and came home the way Bill suggested, still not sure which is the best way. (smile)

It was so great to see Joyce she was late arriving because of snow in Maine. The flight left a half hour late and of course arrived here the same way. But as she said if it hadn’t been a direct flight to Florida they would not have been able to leave yesterday. Last night we went out to eat and today she will pick up her rental car and be on her way to Dad’s.

Well I guess that’s it for this week hope that you have the best week ever and remember please take good care of you!

Lots of Love
a (aa) Mom`g`
