One of the things I forgot to mention was that Dad and I attended the Maine Connection. There certainly weren’t too many people there, the President said she thought that many of them had been called home after the big storm that southern Maine had a couple of weeks ago. It is really sad that nothing is done in those meetings to encourage people to mingle or sit close to each other so they can talk. I know it doesn’t go for all people from Maine but most of them are not outgoing (I am certainly not putting my sister Joyce in that categoryJ) they all pick tables that are far apart from each other and don’t talk to anyone they don’t know. Of course I am with one of those people so I can’t say much.
Krista and her boyfriend Torey came out last Sunday evening and did some work for Bill. When Bill wants something done he drives me crazy if one of the kids is suppose to come out and do it right when he wants it done. I am just thankful when they come. The big thing on my list is to get a light on the barn again. It has been out for about a month and it drives me crazy that I can’t see the noises I hear out there. He says he is going to move the light sometime so there is no need to replace the bulb until he does, but I think it is because it is hard for him to reach after all he is 79 years old. It is above an awning so you just can’t put a latter up there. I talked to Grandson Pat about it and he said sometime he would come out and do it for me, but I know he is also busy going to school full time plus a full time job. One of these days when Bill is gone, I am going to climb up there on the roof and reach down and change it myself!
I really feel bad that I missed the gathering at Bud’s last week. I really missed seeing everyone! My allergies were just about cleared up this week when the neighbor’s gardenia bush came into full bloom. I know they are beautiful and to most people and they enjoy there fragrance but to me as soon as I smell it my head stuffs up. So I have gone from a running nose to a head ache.
Oh and I was informed that the Robotic group that did the presentation to us won second in the world in their division.
One of the things that I have been looking for lately is one of those TV bed pillows, since I spend most of my evening watching TV. I have one that I got at Wal-Mart and paid $20 for it but it was no time before it lost it stiffness. It looks like a chair with arms but no bottom. I looked on line and the closest thing I could find to it was $150. Don’t want to pay that much…so if you find one in your travels let me know where I can go buy one. Thanks!
Have some pictures that I would like to share with you. (Thanks to Bet’s husband Don who scans them for me) These pictures are about 70 years old I would guess, Cousin Charles sent them to me and he has identified them some what but there are some questions on my part and thought that some of the Adams (not you Bud J) could help me identify them or Carla you could run them off and asked Aunt Ruby maybe she knows.

In this first one on the bottom row is my Dad, then Uncle Sterl, we don’t know who the first man in the back row is but the next is Uncle Henry, Uncle Hav and the big question is who is the last man. Charles says it is Uncle Charlie and Dad says it is Grampy Adams. If you can help please let me know.
Well many of my sisters were/are traveling this week. Lana returned from Rochester (she said it was cold) Joyce and Jeff have gone to Reno for a Firemen Convention and Helen arrived safely here on Tuesday.
Pat is planning on taking the sisters to Epcot to see the flower show tomorrow. We are really looking forward to it.
On Thursday I went out to work and had lunch with Stacey. Got to meet some of her co-workers and see her office. Also ran into many people that I know out there so they haven’t all retired as yet.
Have really enjoyed all the movies that my friend lent me, but I especially liked Sense and Sensibly as well as Room with a View they are both from the same era as Pride and Prejudice.
Bet and I met for dinner on Thursday at Carrabba’s, I enjoyed it as always. But it was an extra treat because I got to see Grandson Pat also.
Last but not least we celebrate several birthdays this week. Cousin Charles and Dudley celebrate on the 11 and Sister Helen celebrates on the 12th. Want to wish you all the very best of birthday’s!
Hope that you all have a great week, stay healthy and I hope all who are traveling return home safely!
Lots of Love
