Happy Easter all, what a wonderful time this is when we can celebrate the risen Lord! Hope you all have a wonderful Easter and have a day planned with your family, if not dear friends.
The weather here has been quite beautiful the temperature has been in the low 80’s but yesterday we had a little turn a little rain and it was 75 or so. Tomorrow it is not suppose to get above 70 but only God knows if that is true. I understand that most of you that live in the north had more snow this week. I bet your ready for spring, it is beautiful with everything blooming. Beautiful but an errant to me as far as allergies go anyway.
Got a note dear Ann telling me that her sister (Clyde’s sister Mary Ann’s daughter) Janet's daughter Julia had her baby boy Dylan on my birthday! She was not due until May 21, and this was a high risk pregnancy, thankfully everyone is doing very well. Dylan is 3lb 3oz, 16 1/2 in long and breathing on his own. Since he is so small he certainly needs our prayers, Ann said his diapers were the size of her palm.
Well I certainly haven’t been doing anything this last week except working in the yard. So if you think I have rambled before this one should be one of the best if I can think of anything to write about that is.
In answer to my helpful hint last week friend Elaine writes that she had heard the advice about putting the sponge in the microwave. I have since read that it is dangerous, not to do it. Even if you wet it well, it could be a fire hazard. The better answer is to use wash cloths. Go to Wal-mart or Target, buy a big roll of white wash clothes (such as you would use in your bathroom, except these are cheaper). If you are cooking a holiday meal, for instance, you might use several. Wash them every day with white clothes, bleach as needed, and they are much safer. I use them all the time, change them out once a day for sure, and more often if need be. No smell, no danger of dangerous bacteria lurking inside. Now, I do use sponges in my bathrooms a lot. I throw them away from time to time, but they are not used in a kitchen setting. So I pass this on to you letting you know that even though you read it in the paper it is not always so.
What a wonderful birthday I had, gosh I will have to go some to out do this one next year. I have never have received so many cards in the mail as well as on line as I have this year and I even got a beautiful angel from Diana. It was wonderful and I want to thank you all very much. For lunch that day I joined Nancy and granddaughter Krista. Then for dinner I joined Diana at Carrabba’s. While there I got to see Dawn’s son Patrick who works there. I was certainly full at the end of the day and like I always say any day I don’t have to cook is a good day. Thanks again everyone for your cards and your good wishes!
Well tomorrow church will be convenient, we are having a service at 6:30, so I plan to go over and make the drinks and stay. Should surprise a lot of people that I will be there on time.
Well I did it, I filled at least on page, now if I can do it so can you, please let me hear from you. Hope you have a wonderful week, take good care of yourself.
Lots of Love ,
a (aa) Mom & ~g~
