Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Hope this finds you well and all is great with you!

The weather here has been just great. It has been in the high 50’s low 60’s at night and high 70 during the day. Can’t really complain about that weather can you? I have a strong feeling that our cold weather is far behind us.

Not too much to talk about this week, I really haven’t done anything or have I been anywhere.

I have worked just about everyday in the yard, but that is something you never catch up with do you. Now it is time to cut back my pointsetta’s and I am a little nervous out about that, I certainly don’t want to lose them but I also don’t need a poinsettia farm either. But they look so beautiful and I would hate to lose them.

Dad seems to be doing fine, although he tells me his leg has not completely healed up as yet so he has to be careful with it. He has been having some trouble with his sprinkler system and is having someone come on Monday to look at it. He is very pleased with his new air condition system; it keeps it just right for him in the house.

Last Saturday I worked at the All American Picnic at KAR’s park. It is sponsored by NASA and all the contactors and everyone who works at KSC is invited. The Federally Employed Women’s chapter I belong to volunteer in the drink booth. I pour beer for two hours, I have never seen so much beer (don’t like it anyway) and couldn’t get over how people could drink so much of it. Of course there was about 2-3 thousand people so there where not many repeats.

Last week I forgot a very important Anniversary….Jerri and Dean celebrated on the 16th. Sorry I am late with this but hope it was a great one! Other than that I have no other birthdays or anniversaries this week. If I missed you please let me know.

Today our church is having an Art and Wine tasting festival to raise money for the new addition. There will be lots of food and I hope all goes well. I am leaving in a few minutes to purchase donuts to start the festivities off this morning. Tomorrow I will work in the food serving line to help out. It is strange to me but I understand it many of you told me that your church only serves decaf…Well guess what now at my church we are serving both J

I did one of the dumbest things this week I was working outside and decided I wanted a Pepsi. I didn’t have any cold ones so I put two in the freezer and set the timer for 30 minutes and went back out side to work. Yep you got it I forgot all about them and what a mess they made in my freezer. Now you talk about something to do to keep you busy!

Yesterday was Baxley Manor day, got to say since many of my friends retired from NASA the gathering of (items/money) stuff has really slowed down. The gals that purchase the stuff for us do a phenomenal job with the stuff they purchase but it is really beginning to worry me about how long we will be able to continue to help others. But I will leave it in God’s hands he has helped us do a great job so far.

Haven’t heard from you Linda in awhile, hope all is going well with your surgery.

Bud the pictures of the house was something else. It was a great picture and besides that it is a two story, not too many of them here in Florida. Hope you and L are all settled in and all is going well.

Today is Maine Connection Day but Dad has decided not to go. So we will miss it this month.

Well I had better get moving got to go get the donuts. Hope all is well with you, Please take good care of yourself for me!

Lots of Love ,
a (aa) Mom & ~g~
