I want to start right of by wishing special people a very Happy Birthday!
On May 11th a very Happy Birthday to cousin's Charles & Dudley! On the 12th my older :) sister Helen will celebrate her birthday. May has got to be a special month, because my friend Karen's birthday is on the 14th! Want to wish them all the best of Birthday's, since you all are so special I know it will be!!!
On a celebrating note, I want to wish all Mom's the best Mother's day ever!! It's not the flowers or the candy or other gifts that makes it a special day, it is hearing from them or having them come and visit that makes it all worthwhile!
Nancy and I went to the Moose for the memorial service last Sunday. It was very nice in many ways (the food was great) but sad also. I would guess that there were about 40 people there and many more names than that were called. Nice service. We also learned they have a couple meals a week there, we may try them out.
On Monday I joined my retired Federally Employed Women friends for breakfast. It was great to see them and get news about others. But mostly they were all excited about the National Conference in New Orleans in July. I have had some wonderful trip with them and seen thing I would not have seen. One of the places that I did go was New Orleans and I enjoyed it.
Joyce & Jeff's grandson Alex graduates from the Uof NH next weekend! If I don't get my brain to work soon he won't have my card! So proud of him, just make my word you will read about him in the future being a big success!
Nancy goes back to work next week. She is still sore, they took the stitches, and staples out on Monday. It will be hard on her but like everyone else she needs the money. The last couple of days she has been cat sitting.
Diana will be going to Jacksonville tomorrow to help Stacey move. Thankfully it won't be furniture.
David & Pat just got back from Michigan where they enjoyed Mackinac Island.
It kind of reminds me of that place the Liz & Rik likes to go in Canada. It looks like they had a grand time.
Todd has been carrying out some of the stuff that Bill had in the garage thought he might need in the future like louvered doors etc. for the trash man but most of the time he never gets it, someone else things they can use them.
My pool looks great and all is fine with it. Want to get someone to take care of it, thought we had someone but I think Nancy and I scared him off. So I will try again.
Well the news about me is not good, they really don't want to do anything for me. Going to talk to my cardiologist this week and then make the final decision.
Just want to remind you if you call me, I am slow I have four rings and then it goes to the answering machine. Quite often I am just picking up the phone when the answering starts. So if you call give this old lady a few minutes in case I am home please.
Talked to Elaine this week. They have moved Uncle Omar & Aunt Joyce from assisted living to care around the clock. Dear Uncle Omar just wants to go home to God.
Sad to say my friend Bet's niece passed away this week, she certainly is in better hands now!
Lots of Lovea (aa) g'
