Goodness is the only investment that never fails. - Henry David Thoreau
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! I see on FB that the ice in the river is starting to move and there is a lot of flooding in many area's in Maine. Some of that is very scary!
Wanted to share this beautiful picture that David Todd took in his back yard. It looks to me like he has just had a bath and his hair blown dry! He also looks like he is saying I am ready to eat! Love the picture, thanks David!
Had a busy day yesterday (it don't take much to make me tired) First of all I went to the Barn to see Bo and pick up a donation for Baxley. Was most grateful for the donation but I loved that i got to pat Bo! He is such a beautiful horse.
Not that Karen isn't pretty but Bo is handsome!
After that I met Jan & Lori for the Senior's food drop! They are really down on attendance, like I mention before many of them have no transportation. Lori called the Commissioner's office to see if we couldn't get some help with that. Of course they said they would look in to it but so far nothing has been done. After that we went to lunch, you know girl talk I always enjoy it.
Then off to get my hair & nails done. Debbie in the shop did it for me, and it looks very nice. Then a few more stops and home I cam. It wore me out. I tell you it is hell to get old.
Monday was a busy day, took Cocoa to the groomer and for some reason she wasn't to happy about it. She sits in my lap when I take her (yes I know Judy, she should be in her seat) She scratched my arm really well :) I look like I was in a cat fight.
Picked her up from the groomer and then took her to the Vet. All is well with her diabetes.
Was all excited they are almost finished with the pool. Now it looks like we have a leak! It was working fine....money money money.
Nancy's friend took her to the Dr. on Monday. Everything is looking good. She is quite sore but I think she is doing better this time.
Want to wish sweet Diana a very happy birthday tomorrow. She was a blessing when she was born and more so now! The best of birthday's! I am so sorry I forgot to wish Lynn Adams a happy birthday last week! Happy belated birthday Lynn!
Called my heart Dr. locally to find out what was going on with the Dr. at Shands. She called me back and told me that the results from my test was on Dr. Adamsons desk and I should hear the first of next week. Good Lord if I am as bad as they say I am, I may be dead before I find out!
Have a great week!
Remember no one loves you like you do! So take really good care of you!
Please stay healthy!
Lots of Love
