"There is flattery in friendship".   William Shakespeare

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week!  Mine has been a mixture of good and bad, but I am working on it.

Was so pleased our Church raised over $6,00.00 for the Central Brevard Sharing Center.  I helped  by donating items this year, but I wasn't much help working.  A lot of people put their whole heart and soul into this project and I am so happy that they did it.  Next year I hope to be more help.

I am sure hoping that I will be able to go to Uncle Omar 90th birthday party on the 22nd.  But it doesn't look promising.  Both Diana & Nancy have to work and Elaine suggested that I ride with her, and spend the night.  I would love to do that but someone has to give Cocoa her shots....but maybe it will turn out.

On Monday, I attended my first Planning and Zoning meeting in a while.  The interesting item we had was the Melbourne Race Track.  It seems they want to expand the race track and there were a lot of people there for it.  But it seems that all the new work that they have done there, thy have flooded out their neighbors and tore up the road that belongs to them and three of his neighbors .  It was an item that took up quite a bit of time and we ended up turning them down until they get the problem fixed.

Kind of fell asleep at the wheel so to speak and forgot the elderly at Baxley.  Got to get busy and get Angels for all 27 of them.  I guess I got so involved in my troubles I forgot about them.  We have done this every year for along time.  We try to get someone that will take one of them and get them either something they asked for or a $50 gift certifice.  For most of them this is their Christmas.  I hope I haven't started to late and get them all chosen.

Nancy is doing better, but the pain seems to stay with her.  She got the drainage tube out and now we have to wait for it to heal.

Got a great deal on Bill's gun's.  The guy cut my maple tree down that was leaning towards the house ( and cut off the drive way so I couldn't get rid of the dog house) and he is going to clear those florida holly that is trying to get over my back fence!  I am very pleased with that!  It seems that Mrs. Flagler brought them to Fl years ago for color in the winter but they as well as those awful vines are taking over much of Florida.  If I just let them go my whole yard would be filled them like my neighbor to the right of me.

Well, I decided that I better buy a new washing machine after mine started smoking.  Can't complain about that Maytag, I have had it quite a long time and it has done a wonderful job.  But smoking can't have that.  So off I went to buy a new one.  When they came to deliver it, they couldn't install it because the old hoses were glued to the faucet.  So I had to call a plummer to fix it before they can hook it up!  The plummer came and fix that problem but noticed that one of the pipes that was about to go...of course he couldn't fix it then it was a 2 hr. job he will have to come back!  If it isn't one thing it is another.

Now I am in the process of finding a company to put a new drain field in.  So far the cost ranges from $5,600. to about $9,000.  I have two more companies that I am going to call before I decide.

How is the weather where you are?  I know that many of you up north have already had snow.  The weather here has been great now we are in the process of getting a cold spell for us. It is cooler this morning, not bad but in Florida it is cold. :) Then it is suppose start to climb back up the next day.

I hope you have a great week, and that I don't have anything else to go wrong around here.  I know that things have to be fixed ....but not all at the same time! :)

Remember no one loves you like you do! So take really good care of you!
Have a great week!

Lots of Love
a (aa) g~
