April 5, 2014

Good morning all, hope that you have had a wonderful week! Got to say that mine went by quickly, but nothing too exciting happened, Todd and I did more work in the yard, and my roses are just doing great! Finely got rid of the big monster pots that I had on the deck. I bought them at the church fair and was so excited about them...but now I know why who ever had them got rid of them! Nothing would grown in them! When Todd picked them up they just fell apart!  I said Todd and I but really he is doing most of the work!

I am happy to say that David had his surgery on Tuesday, and is home and doing well. He doesn't feel like running, but is resting and mending. I am along with many others so grateful that it went well. Lisa was supposed to have her surgery the next day, but they have delayed if for more test.

I know many of you have already seen this picture, but many of you haven't...so here are three of my grandchildren....look just like me don't you think :)
On Monday, I went to lunch with Bet for my birthday. She knows how I love Mexican food so that is where we went. She gave me a beautiful plant that she started for me, no I didn't thank her for it, cause as the saying goes that will kill it. I can do that well enough on my own!

Now you talk about sweet faces...here are Judy's grandchildren...I say that because I don't think anyone else was involved :)
aren't that beautiful! Almost as beautiful and my grandchildren :) (sweet stuff)

Have not heard from Letty since this picture was posted on FB the first of the week. Don't know if they had more snow since them or if spring is really coming to Ft. Fairfield...
Got a nice note from Ann Swain last week. If I have this right...both she and Jenn work in finance at everyone's favorite place....LLBean! Her husband Chip was off for the weekend with his snowmobile. Sounds like fun, but I think I am a little too old for it. :) Both her son and daughter were quite excited, there Dad had just got home form Afghanistan. Thanks again Ann..

Don't know about the weather in Calais, Me, but Joyce & Jeff's dogs love it
I am a little late with this one...Suzanne sent this to me and I didn't find the pictures until I replied. Here is her handsome son Aiden’s learning the hard
way you can't stand on a table. It is the funnies thing about the picture's she sent me....they wouldn't copy, when I went it to try again they were gone. But he is a handsome boy and is growing fast!

Want to thank everyone for all the cards and birthday wishes!  It isn't every day that you turn 67 :)

Well I guess that is it for me this week, please share what is going on around you...this old lady is slowly fading into the sunset as far as news is concerned!

Remember no one loves you like you do! So take really good care of you!

Lots of Love
a (aa) g~
