"Determine that the thing can and should be done, and then we find the way" Abraham Lincoln
Good morning all, I finally got to sleep in this morning...
I hope all is going well with you! I really can't complain, the weather has been great except for the wind. It is supposed to be not as windy today. My yard is coming along great! I am doing the weeding and Todd is doing the heavy work. When we get it finished I will take pictures and share. I am so pleased with my roses!
As I mentioned last week Judy & Greg was in Salem, MA for Evangaline 1st birthday. Even Liz and Ian were there.
Beautiful Baby and Happy Grandmother!
Joyce has been busy with the legislature. You surely can't get rich doing her job, but the long hours and fighting for what you believe in wears her out. I worry about her every time they say more snow is coming their way because of that awful road she has to travel.
Although she is a very busy lady, she always has time for her people in Washington County!
Talked to Lana & Shari and they are ready for spring in Rochester :) Lana is going to plant all kinds of flowers....I told her not to forget sweet pea's. Grammy used to grow them, and I loved them. They won't grow in Fl.
What do you think of this picture? Ann Swain took it and it makes me cold just looking at it!
The other day I came across this picture of Rik, I couldn't help but picture him out taking care of the snow in his drive way dreaming he was here...:)
Diana is thinking of joining a mixed softball league. I think it is great, she surely needs to be involved with something.
My friend Bet is having a new lawn put in. They killed all the old grass and I think it has been almost six weeks waiting for
the lawn people to come and put a new lawn in.
My friend Karen's husband Michael Mom passed away this week. It is always hard when you lose your Mom. I am so sorry Michael!
This next week will be hard for many, David has his surgery on the 1st and Lisa on the 3rd! Both of them are very serious, so please keep them in your prayers.
I think I mentioned that Bill had all his hair cut off. He had several spots on his head where the Dr. treated him for skin Cancer. So he got the bright idea to have it cut all of so it would be easier to treat those spots. Now after a month the hair has not grown back and he is a little upset about it. Problem is he didn't have much hair anyway :)
Yesterday we did Baxley Manor, thank goodness it was just in time. The cupboard was bare. I can never thank those people that help us each month to fill that cupboard!
I am still looking for help from you for my weekly chat. Let me hear from you!
Remember no one loves you like you do! So take really good care of you!
Lots of Love
a (aa) g~
