"Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile." Mark Twain

Bonjour everyone, hope that you have had a great week! For us Floridians it has been a little on the cool side. Saw this on Face book and how true it is

Photo: Floridians don't do cold.
In fact last Sat, it was in the 50's with strong winds, so I decided to just pick up dinner for Dad and I. It was too cold to take him out. All though in the picture above they are dressed warmly most of us do not have a heavy coat...

Monday was even worse, the temp was 38 when I picked up Dad to take him to the wound center. He had a sweater + a jacket on and it was still cold for him. Another bone was removed from his leg and they also did another skin graph. The Dr. said all indications were that it should heal fine, but he thinks he might have a twin in there that is shedding bones. Dr. Kimball did a great job back 70 some years ago, it has been great up until 15 yrs or so, then the bones from the original skin graph started coming out....

Tuesday I had a Dr. appointment, so that took care of that day.

Joyce is coming in April, we are really looking forward to that!

On Wednesday, took Bill to the VA to have a cancer spot removed behind his ear. They want you to be there 1/2 hour early then don't take you until an hour later. They put six stitches in and he lost a lot of blood. But he seems to be doing fine now.

Lana called me on Thursday to tell me that Dad had fallen the night before. She said he was fine, no cuts no bruises. He has an alert thing he wears but would he use that? Heck no, he crawled into the living room and called Lana. I tried to tell him if he pushed that button it would be the same thing as calling but he said he hates that thing. Bless the Lord help me to do better than that as I get older.

My mouse on my computer died. Can't complain it must have been at least six years old. It was a wireless so I knew I could do it myself without calling Shari! Wrong! With my eyes I could not see that little thing to help myself! So I had to call her to find out where it was, even then it was a chore but I did find it!

Diana is off to spend a few days with Stacey & Paul in St. Augustine. It will be good for all of them, plus Diana needs to get away for awhile.

A dear friend of Nancy's passed away this week. Nancy took it very hard. The funeral is today and I am taking my famous meatballs (well famous at church anyway). So today I will be attending the funeral, then off to Dad's.
Well that was my week and next week looks almost the same. Hope all is going well with you and yours. Remember no on loves you like you do.

Lots of Love,

a, aa, ~g~
