If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom. President Dwight D. Eisenhower
Good morning all, hope you have had a great week. Got to say mine was busy as usual and no time to work out in the yard, but hope I can get out there soon, the weeds are taking over.
Would like to start off with the Birthday's and hope I don't forget anyone or mess it up. Start off with Casey Forbes (16th) Megan Adams (16th) Erica Marshall (19th). A very happy birthday to all of you! Not only do I wish you a great birthday but a wonderful week! Also this week Judy & Greg will celebrate their 41st anniversay on the 18th. WOW that is great want to wish you many more!!!!
I have got to say most of my pictures I post here come from Face book and this on is no exception. This is my nephew Rand, the picture was taken in Hawaii....think it is an old friend he met there.
I don't think I have shared this picture of Aunt Joyce, Uncle Omar and Omar Jr.
I was pleased to read on Face Book, that son Eric will be spending this weekend with them.
Busy week this week, started off on Sat., taking Dad to dinner at Longhorn's. Wow we were lucky got a parking spot close to the door. Makes it so much easier with Dad. Although he has to use to the walker is always in a race.
Monday, I had a Zoning meeting in Viera.....One of the items was a new cell phone tower for MI. It has only been a couple of months ago that a tower was approved right on the main drag. This one is by/no on the high school. It is an 150 foot tower and the people that should know about it has not been notified because they live more that 500 ft from the tower. We tabled it for a month hoping to get an expert to say if it is needed or not.
On Tuesday was the shot in my eye day. Last time I went I was told I had some scare tissue starting to form, so he changed the medicine. Thankfully this time my eyes had improved some so that is always great news.
Wed., was Dad's day and I got to meet his new home care Dr. He is not sure why they come and don't think it is necessary but puts up with it.
On Thursday I had to be at his house at 6:45 to take him for his surgery. So that meant I was up at 4:30.....Thank the dear Lord all went well with it, he did have some pain but it didn't last long. We will never know if he just has very high tolerance for pain or he doesn't have any. Lana was a perfect nurse, she knows just what to do and say....proud of her!
Poor Helen she is still messing around with the closing of her house. If it isn't one thing it is another. They were supposed to close on Thursday, now the date has moved to next week. It seems the buyer of her house now has to have another water test...what a mess!
Was talking to Diana the other night and heard some loud chewing. I asked her what that was....She was giving her dogs a treat...know what it was? Frozen string beans....they love it. Ever heard of it?
Eloise made a bigger mess with her yogurts than she did with the spaghetti...
Got a busy week next week also, today I have a vestry retreat, tomorrow I have to work at the Center, Endeavor leaves for CA on Monday and I have to be in there around 3 am...it will be a long day! Then Tues, the shot in the left eye, Wed., Dad's....so on....
I hope that you have a wonderful week, and please keep me up with what is going on with you and yours! Remember no one loves you like you do!!
