"The love that lasts longest is the love that is never returned."
W. Somerset Maugham

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week, and all is well with you. How is your weather? Got to say it has been beautiful here. A promise of some rain now and them but it has been great.
Sally

Now for the bad news, I am just heart broken over the lost of my Sally. I got the news on Monday that she had a twisted intestines and died last Friday. She gave me so much joy and I hope I did the same for her! I can still hear her and see her when I pull out of my driveway. I will miss her so. I had treats left and took them to Karen at the barn where she keeps her horse. She let me feed the last batch of carrots to the horses over there. It seemed so strange, because Sally had been kicked in the mouth and had broken teeth so I cut all her carrots for her. Some of these horses were large and one carrot was nothing for them to put the whole thing in their mouth! Beautiful horses and well taken care off...just wished my Sally would have been!

The good news is that Nancy has finished her radiation, believe me she is quite happy about that. When she finished her final one they came out with a lei and a certificate that she had graduated! That pleased her, she is quite sore and is in pain when she lifts her arms but she is still working and hanging in there. I hope and pray that this will be the end of the cancer! Her friend Debbie that works at the same shop is thru her Chemo, now she starts her radiation.

As I have mentioned several times, I am always looking for a new restaurant to take Dad to on Sat. evening. Although there are like 180 restaurants in Melbourne, he would just like to go to a chain. So we tried Applebee's again. It had been awhile since we had eaten there. I hold my breath each time because you never know what will upset him. He ordered a steak that came with onions & mushrooms. He doesn't like mushrooms and asked them to hold the mushrooms....wouldn't you know it, the mushrooms were there! I took them all off his plate and then he complained about how hot the dishes were.......who knows if he will agree to go back there again.

On Monday, I attended the Local Planning Meeting in Viera. The only item that sticks in my mind was the one about the wetlands for commercial/industrial. The big stickler for those in the audience was that the corridor's should be named, not the wording itself. Since there is a definition to corridors' I voted for it. Since then I have learned from a lady that sends me e-mails all the time "Tragically, the LPA (Local Planning Agency appointed by the Commissioners) just voted to recommendthis very poor plan to Brevard to the Commission. They may have not understood the full impact of destruction of the most diverse Estuary in North America, or may have mistakenly thought this very unwise move might boost our local economy." So much for trying to do the right thing. If that is what I voted for I was wrong, but I don't think so.

Lana took Dad to the infection Dr. on Monday to learn he has a staff infection in his leg. Nothing real bad, he has been taking med's everyday for it. He will go back to the wound center on Monday.

Yesterday, was Baxley Day. The cupboard was bare, and the money we received this month was below what we normally get. But thank heaven Lori & Jan are frugal shoppers and find all the great bargains. They have bought laundry detergent, toilet paper etc., way ahead so far the people have plenty of the essentials.

Bill has been trying to fix the back door now for almost two weeks. He had made several trips to Home Depot and on Tuesday, he back his truck into my car, now I have a nice dent in my bumper. I have made arrangements to get it fixed Monday. I am not sure what year he will finish on the door.

WaHooo! Lana took her test yesterday for her RN and passed. Now she will be printing out the papers for her next test. After that is the case studies and then the test preps for her final exams. Please keep her in your prayers she is working hard for this!

Dad told me this week I should check into my car insurance, that people over 65 that drive less than 100 miles a week gets a discount! I told him I didn't think I would qualify. I have put 200 miles on my car since Wed!

Well I guess that is about it for this week. Many of you I have not heard from in quite sometime...drop me a line, I would love to hear from you! Please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you as much as you do!

Lot's of Love,
Please pray for the following:
a, aa ~g~
