"Look within. Within is the fountain of good, and it will ever bubble up, if thou wilt ever dig."
-- Marcus Aurelius

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. Mine seemed to be busy but when I look back I really wasn't.  Got to admit, I just didn't feel like writing this, this morning.  Not a heck of a lot to tell you, but I will give it a try....

On Saturday, Dad & I had a nice visit and we went to Long Horn for dinner. I always asked for the part booth/chairs, cause Dad has a hard time getting into a booth. Then there is room for his walker there also.

We had a few days of cool weather at the first of the week, but we are now back to 75-80 temps. Did get some yard work done, but there is so much to do, I will never catch up. All the tree's have the moss hanging from them, wish I could do something about that, but it looks like a loss cause.
I have not heard from Pat on his concert but I am sure all went well.

On Monday, Lori, Gary and I went to Edgewater to see our friends Betty & John. John is healing but not as fast as he should, still problems there we are all very concerned about him. Betty is hanging in there. She sure has a lot on her plate.  We had lunch with them and all and all a very nice visit.  Sometimes we think we have a lot of problems but if you look around you will find others worse than your and that you are truly blessed!

On Tuesday morning I was off for another shot in my eye. This was not too bad, a short wait and then it was all over. When I go on the first of the month it like two hours before I get out of there. But the 2nd eye doesn't take that long. But either one wipes be out for the day.

Tuesday evening I had a vestry meeting.  Thank goodness all seems to be going smoothly.  With today's economy it seems most churches are hit the hardest, especially her with all the lay off's from NASA.  Our church is in need of new carpet, it is badly worn and torn in several places.  Someone has offered to pay  for the carpet (we have raised some money) if it is in by Easter.  Hopefully that will work out.

On Wednesday Dad and I went to a new place for lunch.  Lana recommended it, it is located on the beach.  It is called the Neptune.  Dad loved the ride and was amazed at all the changes along the way since he had been there.  All went well, he was pleased with the place, and loved his sandwich.  The only problem I had is the restaurant is higher than the parking places.  I hurried to get the car and turned and here came Dad (even thou I told him to wait) coming down that nole, with his feet sideways.  Scared me half to death.  I asked him why he didn't wait he could have fallen.  Well he was just trying to help me out!

Thursday was my day to get hay for Sally.  Went to the barn on Chase hammock to pick it up and got there right in middle of the action.  Here comes this horse running from the side and a little person chasing it calling his name.  The girl's Mom came out of no where and the child fell apart.  It seems they were jumping the horses and the horse got scared. The last I seen of her she had ice on her lip and they were trying to talk her into getting back on the horse.

Talking about Sally she is doing fine, she looks forward to my visit everyday.  Which got me to thinking what will happen to Sally if I go home to my class reunion for two weeks, who is going to feed her.  You see all my family have a degree in worrying, if you don't have anything to worry about don't worry about it because something will come along soon.

Want to wish a very happy birthday today to cousin Carla...is 21 or 39  Carla  The best of Birthday's to you.  Then on the 23 great nephew Wetly will celebrate his 19th birthday!  Gosh time is sure flying by, doesn't seem possible that he could be that age.  Have a great day Wes!

Last night we met to celebrate Krista's birthday.  Very nice dinner and it was great to see everyone.  Don't know how the surprise party went but Krista was a little upset that none of her friends could come to the dinner.  I know it must have pleased her to see them all at her house afterwards!
Well I guess that is about it for this week, no Dr. appointment and maybe I can get some work done in the yard.  Judy & Greg will be her Wed, really looking forward to seeing them.

Please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you as much as you do!  Take care!

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
