"If you judge people, you have no time to love them. "- Mother Teresa
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! The weather here has been great, the wind has been pretty strong (wish we had that in the summer) but other than that I can't complain. Cold front came threw yesterday, cool for us got down to 55. Bill had his lined jeans on so you know it was cold for him.

Last Saturday the weather was a little iffy but still worked out fine. Lots of people turned out and all in all we did quite well. Last report we took in over $5,000 for the Sharing Center. That is great, they certainly need all the help they can get. Did you know that 20% of American's don't know where and when their next meal will come from? Sad and hard to believe but you read about those kind of folks everyday.

Dad & I dinned at the Olive Garden last week and had a great meal. He loves that place for many reasons, how clean it is, great coffee and everyone is so friendly.

Got lots of photo's to share with you, David is a great photographer and I am look forward to his pictures. I told you about Liz & Rik being without electric until last Tuesday, Judy got her power back last Friday but it seems in MA, they didn't get theirs back until Monday of this week and here are some reasons why...
This is the back of their home....
Thought I would throw the last one in so my friends and family that live in Florida can get and idea what cold is...can you imagine ....no power.

On Monday I had my Planning & Zoning meeting in Viera. One of the items on the agenda was an 170 foot tower for cell phones. They wanted to locate it almost in the heart of Merritt Island with lots of residential homes nearby. Thankfully it was turned down by our board but who knows what the commissioners will do.

Tuesday I spent most of the morning at my cardiologist office. Had my Eco cardiogram, as well as an EKG...looks like I am good for another six months. Then afterwards I met Bet for lunch at one of my favorite places. (Mexican) It was great to see her after she had been gone doing all her traveling.

Tuesday evening I put my cell phone on charge and tell you the truth I forgot about it. When I got up the next morning I checked it and Dad had called me four times the night before. I was so worried, I am trying to carry it with me at all times but I let him down this time. What he wanted was not really important, but believe me he let me know that he doesn't call very often but when he does it is important! I thought that I was doing a great job carrying my cell but guess I wasn't! Another lesson learned by me!

I have mentioned that we have another football star in out mist...here he is up close...handsome guy isn't he
His brother Alex is at the University of NH and he is wrestling...
you have to run I guess to wrestle
Wednesday on my way to Dad's I stopped at Rockledge Gardens. I have this beautiful plant that came up in one of my other plants and I had no idea what it was. I don't usually know the names but this was so pretty that if I lost it I wanted to get another one. I asked several of my friends if they knew what it was and they didn't so I thought that would be the place to go.
And of course it was...it is called Salvia divinorum. The good news is it is perennial and hardy so it should be fine. But just in case, they also have the plant. While I was there I looked at some large clay pots to replace my plastic ones that got broken. To get the same size in clay would cost $250....don't think I will be getting them soon.

On Thursday, I had my annual mammogram, I hate to have that done because it usually takes so long. But the good news is I was in and out in 1/2 hour. Nancy also had her's done and she was not so lucky she has to have a biopsy.

We finally got the list of names for Baxley Christmas...we have 33 this year, hope and pray that we can get someone to pick each and everyone of them.

One more picture from David...They are so beautiful...sad to say come hunting season some of them will be gone...

WOW what get pictures!  Thanks so much David!

Well I guess that is it for this week, hope you have a great week, please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do!
