Quote for the week :

Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force."  -- Irving Berlin

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week.  Got to say mine has been pretty busy, although it doesn't seem like I have done much.  Was lucky enough to get a couple of morning in working in the yard.  Really excited last year I planted some baby breath and in no time it was dead.  Well it has come back this year and is doing very well!

After I worked at the press site on Saturday I went to Dad's, although he feels so alone, he seems to be doing well!   We have a very nice dinner at the Olive Garden and all went well.

Sunday seemed to be the busiest day at the Press Site.  Really has been slow this launch.  Went in at 4 on Monday and we had a successful launch at 8:56 am.  It was beautiful but it wasn't long and it was hidden by the clouds.  Was supposed to stay until 12 but we had lots of (paid) help and it wasn't too busy.  But that day was gone for me...didn't get anything done.

On Tuesday, I picked up Dan & Diana and took them to the airport.  Got to tell you folks that are not familiar with love bugs they are thick!  Wanted to pass this cartoon on to  you to give you an idea.

My car was totally covered when I got back so I went right to the car wash!  What a waste of money by the time I got home I needed to do it again.  Hopefully they will be gone soon!

My son Pat audition for Encore (http://www.encorecentral.org/) and was chosen.  Not really sure exactly what or where they perform but they raise money for the Make a Wish foundation!  So proud of him!   When I get more info I will let you know.

From what I  hear from Dad, Lana & Shari are busy in Rochester and have noticed it is a bit cooler there

Stacey & Paul have finally gotten their wedding pictures from the photographer...there are  only a few of them  check them out http://kathrynbrown.smugmug.com/Photography  Password-spwed2011

Want to wish the happiest of Birthday's to brother-in-law Greg on the 26th!  He is a special guy and I hope he has a special birthday!

It isn't as if the Spell's don't have enough going on for them, Brandy, one of their golden's has a boil on her butt!  Todd took her to the Vet and he has to put warm compress on her four times a day! (I sure would like to be a fly on the wall when that happens)

Dan has undergone several test, but after seeing the Dr  on Thursday, a port was put in yesterday and treatment began.  Bless his heart  he is having a rough time.

Friend Karen is on countdown for her spinal surgery on the 25th, another rough time is expected for her.  She loves her pony so much but it looks like it will be a long time before she can ride him again.

Everyone loves to see old pictures, and as you know a short time ago we lost our beloved Aunt Ruby...here is a picture of when she and Uncle Marvin got married...I remember it well.

Thanks Carla...

I have more tomatoes on my plant...got my fingers crossed.  Love tomatoes but find the best ones come from up north.  But I have them on the north side of property hoping that will do it.

We we are on countdown for Baby Forbes, we hear it should weight about 7 lbs.  Know the parents are really looking forward to the arrival but I also know her grandmother Judy is hanging on a thread for the announcement!

Well I guess that is about it for this week, I have been on the road everyday helping to cut down the number of love bugs...but it doesn't seem to have made a difference!

Please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do!

Lots of Love
