Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. Can't complain about the weather, although it is tending to get close to the 90's in the day time. Have gotten some work done in the yard, the saw is hanging in there.
What a treat, last Saturday for dinner Lana & Shari joined Helen, Dad and I for dinner at the Olive Garden. We had a great meal and enjoyed each others company.
I still can't understand why the birds are not coming to my feeder. The squirrels are slowly coming back, and that isn't a bad thing because it give Cocoa a chance to exercise. It is just so strange, that all of a sudden they have quit coming. I was having to put bird feed in every day but not now...
I have got a problem that I hope that one of you can help me with. SOMEONE I won't say who put a filter in my dish washer and ran the cycle. Now my dishwasher smells like gas. I ran it constantly for two days, then I put white vinegar (cup) and ran it. Then I put 1/2 cup of Clorox in, after that I tried a box of baking soda....to no avail. Do you have any suggestions?

As you can see they are staying young just like the rest of us. David said he had a wonderful visit and you could tell how much Sue & Paul are enjoying their new home.
Well Helen's visit is drawing to and end. Feel bad because of my running around have not spent much time with her. She returns home on Monday.
Bill had not felt well for over a week, and he would not let me call his Dr. But finally on Wed., he gave in. I called the VA and they told me to take him to the hospital. It turns out that he has Pancreatitis and according to him his pain was a nine. So no wonder he gave in. I am not sure how long he will be in the hospital but I am there at least twice a day checking on him. Please remember him in your prayers...
The launch of Discovery has been postponed another day....you got it, it will launch on election day. They are expecting about 200,ooo to view the launch so it should be quite busy here on the highway on that day.
Had lunch with Lori and Betty this week. Bless her heart Betty is a Saint! She has just become a mother to her 51 year old mentally retarded sister, God has really given her a challenge. Please keep her in your prayer or thoughts when you start to think you are having a bad time of it
Granddaughter Stacey is raising money to Help find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma, so people like her dad can live a longer more comfortable lives. If you can help, please go to this web site....she would really appreciate your help. Thank you. http://pages.lightthenight.org/ncfl/Jacksonv10/SSpell
