April 3, 2010

Good morning all hope that you have had a great week.  Although I had something going just about every day this week, there is really not much to say.   But I will give it a try.....

On Saturday I went to visit Dad and we went to Applebee's for dinner.  I never know where to take him he won't tell me but the one place he really likes is the Olive Garden but I know he would get tired of it if we went every week.  I have a brother-in-law that doesn't like to eat at chains, well Dad likes the chains because they have to be clean.

Before Lana left she took him to the  grocery store and encouraged him to double up so he wouldn't need to go to the store while she was gone.  On Friday evening I asked him if I could pick anything up for him, oh no he really had to go himself.  Maybe I haven't told you but his idea of when you should go to the grocery store is at 8 am on Sunday morning, and of course it ended up that is when I took him.

Monday I got some much need yard work done, there is still lots more to do believe me.

Tuesday I went to visit Dad again and took him to the Eye Center, he had broke the nose guard off his glasses and thankfully we were able to pick up his contact at the same time.

On Wednesday eight of my friends from FEW went to the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa.  We took a bus from Cocoa, left at 9 and got back here at 7.  Wish I had a lot of good things to say about the trip other than we had a nice lunch but for the first time I just did not enjoy myself.  I know most of you will find that a surprise.

On Thursday I went to my cardiologist for my six month check up.  As usually I am in great shape...just wonder why if I am in such great shape I have to go every six months.

Cousin Blair sent me interesting picture  of MT. Katatin in Maine it was take around the middle of the month.  Beautiful isn't it!  Thanks Blair for sharing...

Started my volunteering at the Space Center yesterday, will be going back in today and tomorrow I will work 9-1 and back in at midnight and work to launch.  Hope all goes well it will be the biggest candle I have ever had for my birthday!

Well I guess that is it for this week, hope all goes well for you have a wonderful Easter and remember take good care of you!

Lots of Love
