Good morning all, what a week this has been. Not to much to complain about the weather has been great, got some work done in the yard and that is always good!
This week Dad and I had dinner at the Outback. He always complains that it is too dark in there, so I brought my small flashlight with me. He likes the food but complains because he says there is a reason they are keeping it so dark, maybe to cover up something So it will be a while before we go back there again.
Quite sometime ago Blair sent Dad several CD's. He complained that they would not work on his computer but strangely enough he tried them this week and they worked Two of them were David Foster and he thought it was great! Cousin Charles sent him some also and for some reason they don't work. But I am sure in the future they will, really great choices for him such as Our Miss Brooks, Jimmy Stewart etc. I guess he has to be in the right mood for them to work I want to thank them both again for sending them, it took up several hours of his time.
Got a nice note from Gloria, it seems she has been down with a cold also but is starting to feel better. She is all excited, she and Don left on the 14th to visit their daughter Kimberley & husband Nate in Los Angeles. She also mentioned how much she like that picture of Mt. Katahdin that you took Blair! Fabulous is the word she used! Aunt Ruby has been doing well until recently and also has developed a cold. Please keep her in your prayers.
Pat & Dave are all excited they are off on May 18th to Kona, Hawaii. They have everything booked and are ready to go. Sounds like a great vacation, never have been to excited about going to Hawaii but I know others are!
I mentioned last week that Bet & I had been invited out on Tuesday to get our picture taken with the shuttle with the Press people. We certainly learned something I worked there all those years and didn't know the difference between a roll out and a roll over! A roll out is when they move the shuttle to the pad (which is what I thought was going to happen) But no that is next week, the roll over is when them move the shuttle from the OPF to the VAB to be stacked.

It was quite a thrill for both of us, got lots of pictures taken and hopefully I will have one to share with you in the future.
Another exciting thing that has happened at the Center is - As far as the eye can see is a farm of solar panels off of State Road 3 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Representatives from NASA, Florida Power & Light, SunPower Corporation, community officials and media gathered to formally commission the facility. This newly constructed solar power facility will provide an estimated 10 megawatts of emissions-free power for FPL customers. The facility features approximately 35,000 highly efficient solar photovoltaic panels from SunPower Corporation to feed FPL's electric grid, generating energy for more than 1,000 homes and reducing annual carbon dioxide emissions by more than 227,000 tons.

Karen and I were supposed to go out to lunch on Thursday and solve more problems for the world but bless her heart she got so sick.I mean really sick she ended up in the hospital. Hopefully all will go well with her and we will meet when I get back to work on the problems.
Yes, I am a real jet setter...I leave on Tuesday to go to NJ. I will be there a couple of days and then ride back to Fl with Judy who is going to visit Dad for a couple of weeks. Because we will be on the road there will be no Just Chatting next week.
Both Dad and I are disappointed in Dancing with the Stars this week, really thought that Kate should have gone
Not to happy with American Idol either, thought the girl they kicked off was very talented.
Got a busy Monday again this week, will be working landing at the Center and in the afternoon I have a Local Planning Agency meeting...long day.
Todd still hasn't found a job so he was looking for work at his Grandmothers. I have lined up jobs for him to do this weekend. I will be very disappointed if he doesn't come.
Well Folks please take good care of you! Let me hear from you!!!
Lots of Love
