March 8, 2008

WOW what a busy week it has been for me, but that is ok, it keeps me out of trouble or in it one of the two (smile) the weather here has been great mostly….lots of threats but nothing really bad. Wanted to share this picture with you for those that think it is too cold here or what ever. This is my friend’s Letty’s house, as you can see, lots of snow.

Now that is some snow! The first one was with the note I should really wash those windows now that I can reach them (smile)

On Saturday morning I was so proud of myself, me who hates to shop decided it was time to get a couple of outfits for the up coming conference. Really hit it lucky went to Sears and found what I wanted right away so that was a good thing. Went to visit Dad and Joyce and we went out to dinner. I asked for the special waitress and everything went well. Hope she stays at Applebee’s for a while she certainly give great service!

On Sunday did my normal thing was at the Church at 6 fixed the drinks and went back for the 8 am service where I was an usher. Then I came home and really did nothing for the rest of the day.

On Monday I took Bill to the VA where they confirmed that he needed surgery for his cataracts. After which I met Joyce at the rental car place where she turned in her car. For dinner we had crab legs and they were great! It was the first time that Bill had them but he really enjoyed them.

We were up at 4 on Tuesday morning, Joyce plane left at 7:55 and we have to wake up you know! Left here shortly after 5:30 and decided to go the back road which worked out great! I do think it is shorter and there was hardly any traffic. I was home by the time her plane took off and she got home safely that is all that matters. We certainly miss not having her here but that happens each time one of the Sisters comes to visit.

My FEW conference was on Wednesday and Thursday and I had to be there at 7 am. Both days were long for me and I was glad to get home. This year I believe I heard we had about 250 each day which is great. The President of the national origination was there and we really enjoyed her with us.

Friday I was back at work at the Press site, really bad weather was predicted for the time the astronauts were to arrive and they were supposed to come in at 1 am this morning not sure if they did or not. But I will find out I am back out there at 8 am. It looks like the next couple of days I will be quite busy with launch.

Got several people that I want to wish the happiest of Birthday’s too! On Monday my cousin Chris will celebrate as well as my dear friend Kari, then on the 12 Robie wife Jennifer will celebrate, Then on the 13 nephew William will have his 24 birthday! I want to wish you all the best of days and many many more!.

Well I guess that’s it for this week hope that you have the best week ever and remember please take good care of you!

Lots of Love
