Dad continues to attend his exercise classes. He goes four days a week and is getting a lot out of them. He laughs when he tells me about it, he says some of them are foolish exercises but he says it works. In fact that shoulder that he injured when he was hit a year and a half ago keeps improving and he is feeling stronger. It is a wonderful thing for him, he not only is getting to use his mussels but he is meeting new people at the same time.
Helen, Stacey and I met Pat and David last Sunday to enjoy Mickey’s very Merry Christmas. First we had a late lunch at a deli in Orlando. It is very nice and they have desert out of this world. (Which none of us needed but we had to try it) It is always a wonderful experience to go to the Christmas fest at Disney. The Choral is beautiful and always well done. Then of course all those Christmas lights very impressive. Helen was a little disappointed when she thought that it was real snow and it turned out to soap. But it is still impressive. We all enjoyed it Thanks again for taking us.
Helen spent the night with us on Sunday and returned to Dad’s on Monday. I think she enjoyed her trip but was ready to go home. She came back up on Wednesday, turned her rental car in and stayed the night with us. She flew into Boston, caught a bus to Portland and then drove home. All went well and she is safe at home.
On Tuesday evening my friend Karen and I met with some people at the church about the problems that we are having with the building permit. Now according to the contractor if we have to donate 25 feet to the county for a right away we will not be able to put our small handicap plus four spaces in, we will have to move it to another place. We have decided that we are going to get on the commission agenda and see if by talking to the Commissioners we can get them to wave giving that much right away for the church. This thing has been a real pain for a lot of people, I believe that the Contractor is to blame for most of it but not pushing harder is our fault.
Want to wish a very Happy Birthday to Paul on December 6! Hope you have a great birthday Paul!
Really don’t have a lot to say this week; I have really just been resting up for the big rush that is coming up soon.
Well I got the official word lasts night! One more shirt is in the making! Todd has been picked for the ALL-STAR’S and they will play on the 20th in Melbourne.
Diana was called for Jury Duty on Thursday. She spent the whole day waiting around to finally find out at 5:45 that she had been picked for the jury. Don’t know anything about the trail but one day and it was over.
Got such a kick out of Nancy yesterday, she was dreading the lady that was to come after me. She said she was at least 70 acts like she is in her forties have had a face lift that was not a good one, plus she wears sparkly make up. She said to each his own, but she wants me to go out for with her one night and that is never going to happen. I guess some people don’t want to ever grow up.
Next week on December 6 we have launch. Bet and I will be working all next week at the Press site. I am sure next week I will have some interesting facts for you.
It was great having Helen here and we are certainly going to miss her. Have not heard from many of you in a while, drop me a note I want to hear from you. Have a great week and take good care of yourself!
Lots of Love
a (aa) Mom`g`
