"Never look down on someone, unless you are looking to pick them up" Jessie Jackson
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! This morning for me the spirit is willing but the body is not! Just can't get myself going for some reason. :)
Want to start right of with all the birthday's this week. A very happy birthday to Kyle who will celebrate his birthday tomorrow. Then on the 30th, Lisa daughter Charlie wills celebrate as well as sister Judy. On the 1st best wishes and a happy birthday to Lisa! The best of birthday's to all of you!
My friend Bet & husband Don are off traveling again in the home away from home. She and I had lunch this week before they left. They plan to be gone at least 5 months. Part of it will be in Ok where they will help celebrate her Mom's 100 birthday.
Have been looking at the weather in Maine, it is like in the 70's which I am really looking forward 2. It has been in the 90's here and if we are lucky we will have a thunder storm in the afternoon. Bill does not put the air on, so I am looking forward to the cooler temps!
As I mentioned Chris & Lynn Adams are new grandparents, they are some excited.
Here is a new picture of Ryland Santana. Isn't he something!
Sorry I missed it, But Ann & Chip Swan celebrated their 25th Anniversary on the
24th at their favorite place in Bar Harbor! Sorry I am late but I know you both had a great time.
As I mentioned last week great nephew Jacob graduated from the 8th grade today I have a picture of him, his
Dad and Melissa on that special day.
About the only exciting thing that has happened around here is we got our home insurance bill for the year and it had doubled the cost from last year. So, Bill is on his horse trying to find a cheaper insurance. The inspector came was not happy with the roof. He said we only had two nails in each one. So Todd came over and went up there and took pictures, which showed three nails. The problem is the inspector went up in the attic and he seen staples. We have two sets of shingle on the roof. So we will see how that goes. Always something...
Yesterday was a busy day for me...First I went out to the stables to see Karen, well mostly to see Bo and pick up her donation for Baxley. When I got there just about everyone was gone. Including Bo, I take it they were on the trails. So, she had left carrots there and I stole some and feed the three remaining horses there and off I went to Baxley (she had left her donation by the carrots :). Again I have to say what great shoppers Lori & Jan are! Jan got a whole case of toilet paper for $20. Now that is a great price! We were very lucky thanks to many we were able to fill the cabinet again.
Last night Nancy, Diana and I went out to eat. Some one had given Nancy a $100 gift certificate. It was so nice going out with my daughters. The food was ok, but I don't think we will go back.
Nancy is working some, but she is still suffering pain. I imagine that will be the same for several months.
Really not that much to say this week, rather quiet. Should be busy for me next week, my car needs to go in for a check up, I also think I am going have a facial...the girls gave a gift certificate for Christmas. Time is clicking down and we will soon be off to Maine!
Remember no one loves you like you do! So take really good care of you! Have a great week!
Lots of Love
a (aa) g~
