"Climate is what we expect, weather is what we get." Mark Twain
Good morning all, hope that you have had a wonderful New Year! Did you do anything exciting on New Year's eve? Can't really say that we did. Bill was in bed by 8 and I guess you could say it was exciting, Judy & Diana called me to wish me a happy New Year.
I guess the main topic this week is the weather. It has really been nice here except yesterday strong winds and in the 50's. But the real weather has been up north. Very cold and lots of snow most places. Just to share a few picture if you didn't get it...this from my friend Letty...
Cold I would say it was cold -20 and I don't think it hit 0 on that day....
This picture reminds me of the street that Jess, Kyle and family used to live on in Boston... The snow is very pretty, but got to say I really don't miss it!
You will never guess what Jacob & his Dad had for dinner Christmas Eve?
Diana ventured off to S. C. for New Years to see Krista & Andrew. I wasn't concerned about her driving up there alone, I was concerned about her stopping. She knows no strangers...but she went straight up and didn't even stop for gas. She got to meet Andrew's family and enjoyed her stay. On her way back she stopped in St. Augustine to visit Stacey and Paul.
Monday, I go for my shot in both eye's. I am just guessing but I think they are a little worse ...hope not.
I believe that Pat & David are off on another adventure. Hope they had/have a great time and relax.
Joyce & Jeff have been under the weather here for a while. Hope they are feeling better.
Thought that you would enjoy this one, a person that David T knows took this picture...
Does anyone have contact with Aunt Nora's family? What a shame if we have lost contact with them!
Remember no one loves you like you do! So take really good care of you!
Lots of Love
a (aa) g~
