Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! I hear and the NE is getting a lot of rain, ours comes goes bunt the heat is all the time!
Want to start right off wishing my baby sister a Very, Very happy birthday! The best of wishes to you dear Lana! On Monday another special person celebrates a birthday! The best of birthday's to you dear David Todd!
On Saturday some of the family met Dad & I at Shell's for dinner. He was quite pleased...here is Lana & I

What a birthday he had....he started out upsetting Lana but after that it was all up hill. His nurse came and brought him a card and birthday balloon. He loved it! He & I went to the bank, picked up a pizza and had a great lunch. He has a bunch of cards, which also pleased him. Then after I left the phone calls started. If you called him, most likely he did not hear who you said you were, but was very pleased with the calls. Really the only ones he knew was the sister's & Liz. But the calls made him very happy he couldn't understand how everyone knew it was his birthday. If you called let me know so I can tell him that you called. I know Stacey called him, and he didn't hear who she said she was.
Joyce & Jeff sent him lobster for his birthday and it didn't arrive until5:30. To late for him he had already eaten another piece of pizza:) But it certainly didn't go to waste, he had it Thursday & Friday! He loved it! Of course it wasn't the same as when Joyce fixes it. :)
We got the papers on the new home insurance this week but of course we have to wait to see if we pass the home inspection! Of course with that small print it is hard for me to read.
The guy who is going to put my new flooring in came this week, measured and we got the cost. The only thing that was not included in the price was the new base boards. I have to pick them up at Home Depot with Diana's help. Then they have to be stained. Which I hope I can get Todd to do. The other thing with is I have to take all my angels out of the cases! Got to get boxes for them, Lana has offered to help me move them, thank goodness.
On Thursday, I took Diana for her colon check. Guess what time she had to be there? 6 a.m. early morning for both of us although we both get up early it was earlier than we wanted.
But the good news is the Dr. told her she had a beautiful colon!
Yesterday I got real energetic and got out in the yard. Right away I got into an ant bed and the bit the h___ out of me. My feet are a mess. My eye site had something to do with it but not as much just not looking close enough was really to blame.
Diana is having her master shower redone. They ordered the new shower door and it came yesterday and guess what it was measured wrong! Now she has to wait another week to get it done.
I am happy to say that Don Eldred (from the prayer list) Is doing great! Thanks everyone for your prayers. Can't say the same for Mike Storm, it looks like he is loaded with cancer and really needs you prayers, as well as his family. Briget Daniels is waiting for a new kidney, they have found a match, now they are waiting for a date to do it!
Sue and Paul had a great Alaska cruise, they had a great time, but it wore them out. She doesn't think they will do it again.
