"A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice." Bill Cosby

Good morning everyone, I hope that you have had a great week. Lot's of sunshine or rain whatever you need.

This week has been quite an adventure with Dad. I am going to post here what Joyce wrote on Face book, she is better with words than I am... But I will start by saying at the end of last week, Dad started to hallucinate at first just here and there but by Sat. morning Lana chose to take him to the hospital, at this point he could not walk. For  over 48 hours he did not sleep nor did Lana & her friend Shari. I did my time in the day time and Diana was there for 6 hours but mostly it was Lana & Shari. Then he finally went to sleep ...
"For all of those who have asked about our dad, It is wait and see right now. One doctor has said that the Comedian and a prescription for depression may have caused a lot of what he was going through along with just growing old. It seems older people do not react well to mixing drugs. He also stated that Comedian mixed with any pill causes problems. They have recommended taking him right off th...e Comedian. Being 96, they felt, it could give him more harm than good. In 24 hours we will know what direction we will be going. He still can't walk. As long as he is in the condition that he is in, he no longer can come home and stay alone. The chooses right now are Hospice or Rehab. Our dad is not going to like either choice."

He now is awake, can't say he is his old self, but much better than he was. Judy & Joyce arrived here on Monday night and they certainly have been a blessing. Each day he has slowly improved, but he still can't walk.  He has been moved to rehab and he will be there until he can walk again. This is going to be very hard for all of us, so please keep us in your prayers. Yesterday he was moved to a Rehab place. The goal is for him to walk.....only time will tell. Of course he wants to go home, but he knows he cannot uncles he can walk.

My floor's look beautiful and it will be great when they finish on Monday. Got to admit that all that is going on is a big strain on me, but hanging in there.

All my sisters are wonderful people and love them so much, of course we are all quite different but we hang in there together. I am so thankful for them!

The good news this week is Bridget got a new kidney from her son and seems to be recovering well.  Of course that only happened yesterday so please keep those prayers coming.

I guess that is about all for this week, hope and pray next week I will have better news!

Just remember no one loves you like you do! Take good care of you!
