"The most effective way to do it, is to do it!" Amelia Earhart

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! The weather here as been very warm at times, gosh it is almost like we didn't have a winter at all. Did get some work done out side, but I am falling behind on the weeding. Still need more hanging pots, they look funny with nothing hanging from the rods that I have out there.

Dad & I did well again this week at the Olive Garden, got there at the right time, got a good parking space and was shown to our table right away. He loves Olive Garden cause as you know it is a "Family Place"
On Sunday there were more people than usual at church, which is great. Have no idea how many they had at the 10:30 because they had a donkey.

I have told you that Uncle Omar & Aunt Joyce is not doing well, our prayers are certainly with them. But on that line, I am sorry to say I am not too familiar with their children, maybe you are. When I left home there were Jack (Johnny) & Elaine, I knew them because I baby sit for them. So this week I am going to try to bring everyone up to date on that family...Maybe you knew them but I didn't. I know Mom would be very sad if I didn't make the effort to know the family. I got this info from Elaine...Jack is in NJ, Chris is in VT, Omar is in MA, Lori is in NJ for now home from 25 yrs in France, but prob will move to PA when her husband takes a pastor position there soon, Eric is in Boise Idaho. I'm sure they'd love to be a part of your just chatting. I know about feeling badly about keeping up with family, I do as well. Everyone seems to have so much going on, it's hard. Elaine is about to have knee surgery and isn't looking forward to it. I am sure Helen can sympathize with her on that one. Here are some pictures that I took off Facebook, Not really sure when they were taken but they are great pictures.
here is a picture of Jack and Lori...
and here is a picture of Jack's daughter Becky when she got married.
I know sometimes it seems like Just Chatting is all about me, but it isn't I am trying to keep the family in touch with each other. If you have pictures or news about you family please send it to me...I feel so sad that we have no contact with Aunt Nora & Uncle Dan family. The sisters & brothers were so close I know they would want us to stay in touch!

This week we got Helen's confirmation on her trip here. She will arrive on the 15th of May. As always we are looking forward to her coming. At the same time Lana & Shari are heading for Rochester. It is good for Lana to get away for awhile, but Shari Mom is not doing well so actually they will be doing the same thing they do here.

Tuesday I had my six month check up and I am good for another six months. I have two cysts on my elbow which he plans to take off in May. They need to come off, but I am not looking forward to it.

Wed., of course I went to Dad's and we had a nice visit. He got to take his shower while I was there...we don't want him to do it when he is alone. Then I went and got us a sub, when I came back he had his ear phones on and kept them on. When I got ready to leave he hated to see me rush off.....the whole time he was watching TV.

Sister Joyce is fighting a battle to help keep the Senior's home in Calais. It is a hard battle but if it can be done she will attempt to do it!

Thursday was my 47th birthday....it started out with a shock...Bill tried but he sure mess a good idea up. He bought me flowers on Tuesday, and left them in the truck...you know the rest of the story...they were dead! Beautiful card and well intentions but they looked awful. The rest of the day went great, got lots of birthday wishes on line as well as cards in the mail. Nancy took me to lunch at an Italian restaurant, which was great! Diana & I were supposed to go to the movies last night and then out to dinner but I had quite a busy day yesterday so we are going to do brunch on Sunday. (the good news about the flowers, is when I was in Publix yesterday I commented to the lady how pretty the flowers were and had to tell her my story. Guess what? She felt sorry for Bill and gave me another complimentary flower! So all was not lost!

Well I guess that is it for this week, hope you have a wonderful Easter! Remember no one loves you like you do!

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
