Good morning all, what a beautiful week it has been. Not to hot and great weather to work out side in (If you have the time)
What a wonderful Mother's Day I had. Poor Dawn had to work but her son Pat came over instead to deliver a beautiful orchid and cake for me. The orchid has me worried, I love them but seem to kill them off, while trying to save them. Several people have told me that I can attach them to a tree and they will do well........the cake was wonderful, I really needed it and of course it was the kind I like chocolate! That afternoon I met Diana, Nancy & Stacey and we went to the movies to see Back Up Plan. It was very funny and I really enjoyed it. Then off to dinner at Longhorn's great day, really enjoyed all of it. Pat called me to wish me Happy Mother's Day (he also sent a card), he and David were packing David Mother up for her return to Michigan for the summer.
Sad to say Dad still has the flea's in his house, they don't bother him but he has seen them on his sock (white). So we are having the bug guy come back again next Wed, when I go on my regular visit.
Bill hired some people to cut the pepper trees that have taken over the back yard by the fence. Which I think is great but what he didn't do is have them haul the cuttings away, so they are just sitting there waiting to reseed or catch on fire!
Dawn son Patrick spent two days out here helping Bill. Bill was so happy to have him and he really enjoyed visiting with him.
Got myself another squirrel proof feeder it works like a charm, the squirrels don't even try to get food from it. I also put a feeder out for the cardinals and squirrels. Cocoa don't care about the cardinals but she sure likes to chase the squirrels. She has been chasing them for years and up until yesterday was not successful in catching them. I think it surprised her that she caught it and let it go.
As you know I worked all week half days except on Wed of course. The launch was spectacular and there was a lot of people in the area to watch it. I imagine that it will be more so with the two remaining launches.
Diana will be going down with me to Dad's today, today is the 2nd of the big three horse races, we can't miss that. Then tomorrow we are all looking forward to seeing David & Johanna.
Not to much to say this week and I think I have rambled on enough. Hope you have a great week, and remember please take good care of you!
Lots of Love

Cousin Blair sent me this picture of the sunset in my hometown. It is a little dark but a nice picture

I have mentioned fiddle heads before it is a veggie that is a favorite of many New Englander's. Brother-in-law David sent me a picture of them just peeping up out of the ground. One of the things I miss in the spring time....
